Ships wrecked in pursuit of destiny

"... baby promise me forever" turned into heartbreak Now I think about you never An aftermath of an earthquake "...daughter, mother will pamper always" turned into disappointment Now in isolation, can't face each other. Lies rise in development ... patterns propel that history repeats itself Now daughter is a mother herself Focused on her ambition she forgets to listen "... daddy, mommy is busy but she loves you turned into divorce and heartbreak Now in isolation she recalls too how granny used to promise mother again how she'd pamper mother always. Poem written by Elizabeth Ramadikela
